Share your Strut Story

If you love turkey hunting in Alabama, this is your moment to share why it matters. The Alabama NWTF Strut Story Contest is your chance to tell the story behind your season. We want to hear from hunters of all ages, from seasoned veterans to first time youth hunters. Whether your story happens in a green field at daylight, around a campfire with friends, or beside a proud mentor and a wide eyed kid, this contest is for you.

Create a short reel using photos or video clips that capture the heart of your hunt. Show us the early mornings, the laughter in camp, the longbeard strutting in the sunshine, or the quiet walk out of the woods. Your entry should tell a story that means something to you and reflect what turkey hunting in Alabama is really about.

Strut Story is more than a contest. It is a celebration of heritage, camaraderie, faith, family, and conservation. It is about honoring the land, respecting the bird, and remembering that sometimes the best moments happen long before or long after the shot. If you are passionate about turkey hunting and proud to call this Turkey Country, we cannot wait to see your story.

Submit your videos from March 24, 2026 - May 30, 2026 to give time for submissions after season closes. Videos must be filmed in Alabama.
